Cruising: Dining on the MSC Divina

Get Lost with Kelley Ferro aboard the beautiful MSC Divina! The stunning MSC Divina pulled into Miami’s harbor in November to start her Caribbean route. This gem of a ship is luxurious and simply lavish—with amazing amenities, rooms, entertainment, and dining—it is quite classy! The food is high quality and delicious—the buffet is plentiful, but there are many other options too, like Eataly Steakhouse and Venchi homemade Gelato!

The moment you step on board, you’ll notice the ship’s attention to detail, from the sparkling Swarovski crystal staircases to the modern décor throughout the common areas. Kelley Ferro, known for her travel videos and passion for immersive cultural experiences, invites you to discover the MSC Divina’s unique offerings. Whether it’s sipping a perfectly crafted espresso at the onboard café or enjoying live music performances in the Piazza Del Doge, there’s always something enticing happening on every deck. For those looking to soak up the sun, the infinity pool area and the MSC Aurea Spa are perfect for relaxation and rejuvenation. Fitness enthusiasts can also stay active at the gym or participate in various exercise classes.

Dining on the MSC Divina is truly a highlight. Beyond the already impressive buffet, the culinary team strives to bring a taste of Italy—and much more—to each guest’s plate. You can savor authentic Neapolitan pizza or sample classic dishes like risotto and seafood pasta, all prepared with fresh ingredients that reflect the true essence of Mediterranean cuisine. One standout experience is Eataly Steakhouse, which prides itself on serving premium cuts of meat and an extensive wine list. Another delight is Venchi, where handcrafted gelato and decadent chocolate treats are served up daily, satisfying even the most discerning sweet tooth.

Of course, if you’re in the mood for a more casual experience, you’ll find plenty of variety at the main buffet. Whether it’s breakfast, lunch, or dinner, there are numerous international dishes to choose from, ensuring every palate is catered to. If you’re craving bold, spiced flavors, keep an eye out for the clove buffet option—an homage to aromatic blends that lend a little extra flair to mealtime. The ship’s chefs are meticulous about presentation and quality, making it a pleasure to dine at any hour of the day.

With such a wide range of activities—like Broadway-style shows in the theater, late-night dancing in the Galaxy Disco, and shore excursions to some of the most beautiful beaches in the Caribbean—MSC Divina keeps you entertained from sunrise to sunset. A New York Minute: Sweet Revenge Cupcakes!

A NEW YORK MINUTE: Kelley’s Sweet on…Sweet Revenge Cupcakes!

New York City is obsessed with cupcakes, and I have to admit, I am too. I crave these moist, frosting topped bites of joy. But because the city has such a wealth of offerings, I refuse to settle for any old cupcake. I want the best of the best. So that’s why I chose Sweet Revenge in the West Village.
Not only does Sweet Revenge offer lip smacking cupcakes (emphasis on CAKE), but they offer unique flavors and pair each with a wine and beer.
The West Village location also makes it a charming stop for brunch, lunch, happy hour or after dinner sweets.
