China Travel Guide: Xi’an, Shanghai & Beijing

What to do, see, eat and experience in these vibrant Chinese cities.

I had a whirlwind week in China with Wendy Wu Tours and I experienced so much in this exciting, ancient and modern country. From the skyscrapers of Shanghai, to biking the old wall of Xi’an, to seeing the Terra Cotta Warriors up close and exploring the Mutianyu section of the Great Wall—China was full of life changing moments. Here’s a glimpse into what we did on our tour through this amazing country.

Let’s travel to Papua New Guinea! Explore the tribes of Tari, the famous Birds of Paradise and all the adventure of the Highlands.

Food of Papua New Guinea

Papua New Guinea is unlike any place I’ve ever been! And of course, the food is just as unique. I visited the local market and was blown away by not only the exotic fruits and vegetables, but the entire marketplace ethos! As PNG is remote, most of what you eat is grown, harvested or caught nearby–so it is the true farm to table. Join me as I discover what the locals eat on a food tour of this wild country.

Bucket List: Seeing the Polar Bears

USTOA Live Like a Local
Seeing the polar bears in person, in their natural habitat, is nothing like I can ever describe. Our adventure with tour operator Tauck, took us up to Churchill, Manitoba–the most remote place that I’ve ever been. However, Polar Bears seem to find it quite easily. Our tundra vehicles kept us warm and not only did we see Polar Bears, we interacted with them. Just watch!
